Samba sangria slush mix

This is the perfect thing to pull out of your freezer for a fancy drink when guests come over or just after a long day! So simple!

You will need:

Mix two bottles of wine with the samba sangria mix in the tub provided. Let it freeze for at least 5 hours. Chop up fresh apples, oranges, lemons, or grapfruit for the bottom of the glass and an orange slice for garnish. Yum!!

Orange peels filled with jello

We found this idea on my SIL’s pinterest page and had to try it! Jack and I had so much fun making these plus its a great way to use up oranges that are about to go bad. We had a whole box to use up!

Oranges

You will need:

  • oranges
  • jello mix
  • knox gelatin

First cut the oranges in half and scrape out the insides. We hand juiced them all for fresh squeezed orange juice.

Then prepare your jello mix as indicated on the package but also add 1 package of Knox gelatin to each pack of jello mix. Put your orange peel halves in muffin tins so they will evenly set. Pour jello in orange peels and let set in the fridge for at least 4 hours. Slice and serve!
