Remember in our Christmas pictures when we all got bears from my grandpa made from my grandma’s clothes? Here are some close ups of them. They are just the best. I wanted to share them because I just think it is such a great idea and a fantastic keepsake we have to remember my grandma by. I am all about making things out of really special articles of clothing that have so much meaning. (remember the stockings and pillows?) Every piece of these bears are from my grandmother’s clothes, down to the buttons and all the patches.
You could really have anyone that can sew make these for you, or you can attempt them yourself! The pillows are made from my grandma’s jeans, and the boys will use them as tooth fairy pillows for their lost teeth.
