Red velvet almond cake pops

cake pops

I finally used my Babycakes cake pop maker I got for Christmas! I have been putting if off for a while because after reading all the directions I knew it would be time consuming and you all know how lazy I am.Valentines day was the perfect excuse to try it out. I will say that it was time consuming…but it wasn’t difficult. I also think that now that I got the hang of it, next time won’t take as long. I absolutely love the Babycakes maker though! It is so simple to use not only for cake pops, but for perfect donut holes. And right now on Amazon they are on sale:: 60% off! You can get the whole thing for under 20$! 9. Place chocolate chips in a small saucepan and heat on low until melted.
  10. Dip cake pop sticks (these also come with the Babycakes maker!) into the melted chocolate and then into the frozen cake pops.

White chocolate cream cake pop glaze

Ingredients
  • 1 can cream cheese frosting
  • ½ cup white chocolate chips

Instructions
  1. In a small saucepan, on low heat, melt together cream cheese frosting and white chocolate chips.
  2. When the chips and frosting have melted to a good, runny consistency, remove from heat.
  3. Remove cake pops from fridge.
  4. Dip each cake pop into frosting mix and twirl around to get rid of excess. The key is to have a thin layer, like a glaze, on the cake pop. Any extra will run down the sides when the glaze hardens.
  5. Place cake pops in the stand (comes with the Babycakes maker) or plant foam to dry.
  6. If you are using sprinkles, decorate immediately after placing in your stand, the glaze drys fast!

Notes
Tip* If you want the glaze to dry faster, place cake pops in the freezer for a few minutes.
