You will need:
- 8 oz pkg. cream cheese
- 1 box TS strawberry swirl buckle cake
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 egg
- 6 tablespoons melted butter, divided
- 3/4 cup water
Measure out 1/2 cup of cake mix; set aside. Combine remaining cake mix, water & 3 tablespoons butter; stir until well-blended. Pour batter into greased 9 inch round baking pan. In a separate bowl, combine cream cheese, egg and sugar; stir to blend. Spoon cream cheese mixture over cake; drizzle contents of strawberry filling packet over cream cheese mixture. Sprinkle with remaining dry mix. Drizzle with remaining 3 tablespoons butter. Bake at 350° for 45-55 minutes or until center is just set. Cool completely, then refrigerate overnight.
