Good old fashion blueberry pancakes (with no harsh preservatives)

You will need:

  • 1 1/2 cups unbleached flour
  • 3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder (aluminum-free!)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon raw sugar
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 1/4 cup of milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup of blueberries

Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. pour in butter, milk and egg. Mix until runny. Add blueberries. Pour over skillet on medium heat.

For banana chocolate chip pancakes: Follow recipe except replace the blueberries with one ripe, mashed banana and 1 cup chocolate chips.

These are much better than the store-bought mixes which contain awful ingredients, such as, enriched bleached flour, partially hydrogenated soybean oil, and ALUMINUM PHOSPHATE. For those of you who are unaware, aluminum has been linked to Alzheimer’s disease and autism.
